Energizing Exhaustion

When we relive things in our lives it can be rather exhausting and emotionally tolling. This is truth for me at least. The majority of the things I do in my life are exhausting at that time and even when looking back, though often times joyful recollections, it exhausts me to relive and retell. These parts of my life are the things that have been planted deep within my soul to experience. Passions and drive so deeply intimate that God has written with His own hands of will on our lives.

These exhausted journeys have brought me to stunning destinations both physically and figuratively speaking. And as each running color of our lives on canvas mix and blend with others colors, I am reminded that all of these occurrences create accents, highlights and boldness. Which defines purpose and meaning which also brings out the constant reflection upon Gods life work in us.

And even in the middle of feeling emotionally drained, I would do these things again in an instant if given an opportunity. As I look back on the miles covered, conflict risen and sleep lost. Along with Smiles exchanged, hugs shared and quality time spent, I looked toward this Summer and felt a heavy heart in not riding my Bicycle for others.

However God and His plans are sovereign and I have been invited to join Venture Expeditions for a 10 day tour down the coast of California. It certainly isn't an entire country (even though the layers of California from North to South can seem like states and countries of their own, seasoned with California Culture).

I will be riding the Love Does Tour. Riding to help raise funding and awareness for Restoration International. This organization was founded by Bob Goff (The Author of Love Does) to help people in Uganda to help fight human injustices.

If you haven't read his book yet I highly recommend it! Check it out here .

With this tour comes an opportunity to raise more funding and ride my bicycle for others. Something I continue to pray about that God would use this tent that He's given me to work toward building The Kingdom.

I am running a FULL marathon in May. 26.2 Miles. (I'm looking for 26 courageous people to donate $100 each! All proceeds go to the Love Does tour!)
Then I'm leaving for a month in the back country of Wyoming for a wilderness Ministries professionals course.
AND THEN I'm riding down the coast of California with others to help fight injustices in Uganda!
I am very exhausted just thinking about all of it. Although, when I get to speak of these awesome things God has placed in front of me to witness to God only know who, it blows my mind and pumps the blood and wakes me up on a daily!

"For I know the plans I have fore you", declares The Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."-Jeremiah 29:10-12

More details to come!!!

Until then, keep Adventuring!
