Grand Canyon

I've been outside a lot lately. And this is the way that I like it. Over this past weekend I've had an opportunity to process through my trips and trainings and reflect again and again on the soviergnty of the Lord and his faithfulness in my life. through his creating he speaks tenderly and he is faithful in the words that he speaks.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life. what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"- Matthew 6:25-34

"I love WMPC (Wilderness Ministries Professionals Course) Team 1. CAT. 1 Rain Country
I'd like to make it a point that although we weren't expecting rain and we gave Andrew a pretty hard time about not bring shelters and being prepared, he was a good sport about the joking around about the lack of shelters. Andrew is our Executive Director here at SROM and he is a brilliant, well prepared, gifted man of God who I learned a crazy amount from while in the Canyon.

So this is Indian Hollow. That body of water was more than 6 feet deep and wee needed to shuttle our packs via sleeping pad floating across it to those rocks behind Andrew. Team building is a constant. It was rad!

C-Splint napping. All tuckered out.
